The Ashton Classic Churchill is the long-form expression of one of the most respected mild cigars in the world. At 7½ × 52, it stretches the line's silky Connecticut Shade wrapper and aged Dominican core — rolled at the Fuente factory — into a smoke that lasts the better part of two hours without a single rough moment.

Construction

The golden Connecticut wrapper is applied flawlessly over its full length — no small feat at this size. Cold draw gives cream and fresh hay. Ashton's legendary consistency shows in the even burn, bright white ash, and effortless draw from first light to final inch.

Flavor profile

Mild-bodied, creamy, and patient. The first third opens with cedar and buttered toast. The long middle develops toasted almonds, a honeyed sweetness, and coffee with cream. The final third stays polished to the end with a clean, lightly toasted finish. The extended format makes this the most meditative smoke in the Classic line — 90–110 minutes.
