The Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 Robusto is built around the leaf that gives the line its name — a Broadleaf wrapper from the 1990 vintage harvest, aged for over a decade before rolling. Handmade in Honduras at 5½ × 50, it's the cigar that put Rocky Patel on the map: aged tobacco, medium body, and a smoothness younger wrappers simply can't fake.

Construction

The aged Broadleaf wrapper is dark, matte, and silky to the touch. Cold draw offers cocoa and aged cedar. The Vintage line's construction is dependable — even burn, solid ash, and an easy draw front to back.

Flavor profile

Medium-bodied and round, with the edges sanded off by age. The first third opens with cocoa, cedar, and roasted nuts. The middle third develops coffee with cream, soft earth, and a mellow sweetness. The final third closes with gentle spice and a smooth, toasty finish. Zero harshness anywhere — that's what a decade of aging buys. A 50–65 minute smoke.

Pairings & occasion
