The Arturo Fuente Hemingway Classic is the flagship of the Hemingway series — the original vitola that introduced the world to Fuente's revival of the perfecto shape in the 1980s. A 7 × 48 Churchill-length figurado handcrafted in the Dominican Republic, it pairs a genuine African Cameroon wrapper with aged Dominican binder and filler in the line's most patient, expressive format.

Construction

Rolling a seven-inch perfecto is one of the harder tricks in the business, and Fuente's torcedores make it look routine. The tapered foot self-lights, the burn tracks the shape evenly, and the draw is smooth through every inch.

Flavor profile

Medium-bodied with old-school elegance. The first third opens with cedar, sweet hay, and soft baking spice. The long middle stretch develops toasted almonds, cream, and the Cameroon leaf's subtle sweetness — this is where the Classic earns its reputation. The final third closes with coffee and a whisper of pepper. A 75–90 minute smoke with no urgency to it.
