The Hemingway Short Story, a cigar that pays homage to one of Cuba's most celebrated authors, whose works inspired the Fuente family to change the cigar world forever.

In 1998, Carlos Fuente Sr. discovered a collection of old Perfecto molds in a warehouse in Florida. With the vitola having largely fallen out of favor since the 1920s and 30s, he returned it back to his Dominican factory and taught his master rollers the complex technique. That discovery led to Hemingway Short Story Cigars that are still produced the Arturo Fuente Cigar Factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic.

The Short Story size, like the rest of the Hemingway line, is made with a tapered foot. It sets the standard for medium-bodied cigars and perfecto cigars alike. Wrapped in a toothy Cameroon leaf grown by the Meerapfel family in West Africa, you can expect creamy notes of vanilla, brown sugar, nuts and coffee. It has a lush draw and burns evenly, but don’t be fooled by the size, this tasty, 93-rated gem will burn for about 45 minutes. Get them while you can, these cigars are often hard to find.
