Arturo Fuente Rare Pink Vintage 1960's Series Short Story

Limit: 2 per order. A rare, limited Fuente release — we cap it at two so everyone gets a shot.

The Arturo Fuente Rare Pink Vintage 1960's Series Short Story is one of the most sought-after small-batch cigars the Fuente family produces — a limited release built on the same iconic 4 × 49 perfecto shape that made the Hemingway Short Story famous, but dressed in a rare, reddish Ecuadorian Habano wrapper grown on the Oliva family's La Mecca farm. Hand-rolled in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia, the Rare Pink was created to support breast cancer research, with the Fuente family donating to the cause for every box sold.

Construction

A flawless Fuente perfecto. The Ecuadorian Habano wrapper is silky and sunset-red with nearly invisible seams, tapering to a sharp foot that lights cleanly and funnels the flavor from the very first draw. The burn tracks evenly through the perfecto's curves and the draw opens up beautifully as the cigar widens.

Flavor profile

Medium-bodied and remarkably refined. It opens with cedar, sweet cream, and a touch of baking spice, then builds through roasted nuts, leather, and black pepper from the Dominican and Nicaraguan filler, finishing long and smooth with espresso and a hint of natural sweetness. A complete, polished 30–40 minute smoke.

Pairings & occasion

A special-occasion short smoke. Pair with an aged rum, a VSOP cognac, espresso, or a lightly peated Scotch. As a limited release, it's a favorite among collectors and anyone who appreciates Fuente's rarest work.

Why it's special

The Rare Pink Vintage 1960's Series is produced in extremely limited quantities and supports breast cancer research — a rare Fuente with a cause behind it. Rated 93 by Cigar Aficionado.
