Ashton VSG Corona Gorda

The Ashton VSG Corona Gorda is the connoisseur's cut of the Virgin Sun Grown line — 5¾ × 46, the slimmest regular VSG, where the volcanic Ecuador Sumatra wrapper does the most talking. Blended by Carlito Fuente, rolled at the Fuente factory.

Construction

Dark, oily wrapper on a classic corona gorda frame. The narrower ring exposes any rolling flaw; there are none to expose.

Flavor profile

Full-bodied and concentrated. The high wrapper ratio sharpens VSG's signature espresso, dark chocolate, and earth, with the honeyed sweetness arriving earlier and brighter than in the fat formats. A focused 50–65 minutes — many VSG veterans call this the best expression of the blend.

An evening cigar for attentive smoking. Pair with a neat pour — Ardbeg 10, Booker's, or a vintage port.
