Deadwood Crazy Alice

Crazy Alice is the short, bold member of the Deadwood Tobacco Co. family: a stout 4 × 52 maduro from Drew Estate that packs a lot of flavor into a quick smoke. Dark, oily and aromatic, with the signature sweetness Deadwood is known for, it's an easy one to reach for when you have 30 to 40 minutes.

Construction

Handmade at Drew Estate's La Gran Fábrica in Estelí, Nicaragua. A dark, oily maduro wrapper surrounds a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan filler. The thick 52 ring gauge keeps the draw easy and the smoke full despite the short length. Sold singly, in 5-packs or in boxes of 10.

Flavor profile

Medium to full in body, with rich chocolate and dark-roast coffee leading the way, followed by dried fruit and a deep, earthy base. A touch of sweetness on the lips keeps it smooth from start to finish.

Pairings & occasion
