Diamond Crown Classic Robusto No. 5 Natural

The Diamond Crown Classic Robusto No. 5 is the short, elegant size of J.C. Newman's flagship luxury cigar. Diamond Crown was reintroduced in 1995 for the company's 100th anniversary and is rolled in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera A. Fuente — a five-year-aged Connecticut Shade wrapper over a Dominican binder and a blend of five Caribbean and Central American filler tobaccos.

Construction

A 4½ × 54 robusto in a flawless, golden Connecticut Shade wrapper. Airy draw, light smoke, and the clean, even burn Fuente is known for.

Flavor profile

Mild and creamy. Sweet hay and soft cedar open, with toasted nuts and a gentle note of nutmeg building as it smokes. Smooth from start to finish. About 35–45 minutes.
