Diamond Crown Julius Caeser Churchill

The Diamond Crown Julius Caeser Churchill is the long, luxurious centerpiece of J.C. Newman's tribute to its founder — rated 90 by Cigar Aficionado. The line was introduced in 2010 for the company's 115th anniversary and the 135th birthday of Julius Caeser Newman, whose middle name was misspelled by an immigration officer in 1888. It's rolled in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera A. Fuente with an Ecuadorian Havana wrapper, Dominican binder, and Caribbean and Central American filler.

Construction

A stately 7¼ × 52 Churchill with a smooth Ecuadorian wrapper and the Fuente factory's careful roll. Slow, even burn and a dense, creamy smoke.

Flavor profile

Medium to full-bodied and creamy. Malted chocolate and dark toast lead, with hints of fruit and coconut, cedar, and sweet spice developing over a long, unhurried smoke. About 90–105 minutes.
