My Father Fonseca Robusto

The My Father Fonseca Robusto is the Garcia family's revival of a storied old marque — purchased in 2019, reblended from the ground up with a Nicaraguan Corojo '99 wrapper over aged Nicaraguan tobaccos. The result is rounder and gentler than the Pepin house style: a medium-bodied smoke insiders quietly reorder.

Flavor profile

Medium-bodied and smooth. Cedar, cream, and soft baking spice open; toasted nuts, cocoa, and a honeyed sweetness develop; the finish is clean with gentle pepper. A 45–60 minute smoke that punches quietly.
