My Father Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Petit Robusto

The Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Petit Robusto is the Broadleaf-wrapped signature blend on a short fuse — 4½ × 50 of dark U.S. Connecticut Broadleaf over Nicaraguan farm tobacco, built for full flavor in half the time.

Construction

Thick, oily Broadleaf on a compact frame. My Father factory standards: even burn, dense ash, smooth draw.

Flavor profile

Full-bodied and immediate. Cocoa, espresso, and pepper from the first inch; Broadleaf's molasses-and-roasted-nut depth by mid-smoke; leather and warm spice to close. A 30–40 minute smoke with full-evening flavor.

Pairings & occasion

The cold-morning or lunch-hour maduro. Pair with strong coffee or a small rye.
