The Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Toro is the long-form expression of the blend Jaime Garcia signed with his own name — a 6 × 54 toro pairing dark U.S. Connecticut Broadleaf with Nicaraguan tobaccos from the family farms. Rounder and sweeter than the Pepin-style pepper bombs, with the extra length letting the Broadleaf's depth fully develop.

Construction

A thick, oily Broadleaf wrapper with rustic charm. Cold draw brings chocolate and dark earth. My Father factory construction: razor burn, dense ash, smooth draw across the full toro length.

Flavor profile

Full-bodied with Broadleaf warmth. The first third opens with cocoa, espresso, and black pepper. The middle third turns sweeter and deeper — dark chocolate, molasses, roasted nuts. The final third closes with leather and warm spice on a long finish. A 70–85 minute smoke that rewards an unhurried evening.

Pairings & occasion
