My Father Le Bijou 1922 Grand Robusto

The My Father Le Bijou 1922 Grand Robusto packs the 2015 Cigar of the Year blend into a 5⅝ × 55 wide-shouldered frame — the Garcia farms' dark Habano Oscuro over all-Nicaraguan power, with the big ring taking just enough edge off the punch.

Construction

Thick, toothy, near-black wrapper; flawless Estelí rolling. Even burn, solid ash, generous smoke.

Flavor profile

Full-bodied. Black pepper and espresso open — slightly rounder than the slimmer vitolas — with dark chocolate, charred oak, and developing sweetness through the middle and a long leather-and-spice close. 60–75 minutes.

Pairings & occasion

Post-dinner, full stomach. Pair with cask-strength bourbon (Booker's), rye, or espresso.
