The Oliva Serie V Double Robusto Maduro dresses the flagship blend's most popular format in Mexican San Andrés — 5 × 54 of ligero-driven power with a dark, sweet overcoat. Handcrafted in Nicaragua from aged Jalapa Valley fillers.

Construction

The San Andrés wrapper is dark, toothy, and oily. Cold draw gives dark chocolate and espresso. Oliva burn and draw, unaffected by the wardrobe change.

Flavor profile

Full-bodied and rich. The first third opens with dark cocoa, espresso, and pepper. The middle third develops the wrapper's molasses sweetness over roasted earth. The final third closes with bittersweet chocolate and spice. The Serie V engine with a dessert exhaust. 50–65 minutes.

Pairings & occasion
