Construction

A clean torpedo head on a dark, oily Mexican wrapper. Cut to taste; the burn and ash hold the Oliva standard throughout.

Flavor profile

Full-bodied. The taper concentrates an opening of dark chocolate, espresso, and black pepper; the middle develops raisin sweetness, earth, and roasted nuts; the finish runs long on bittersweet cocoa. A 70–85 minute smoke.

Pairings & occasion
