The Padron 1926 Serie No. 48 Natural is the big-ring entry in the line that defined modern Nicaraguan luxury — a 5½ × 60 box-pressed Robusto Extra rolled in Estelí from sun-grown tobaccos aged a minimum of five years. The Natural wrapper is fermented for refinement, and the 60 ring gauge gives its woody, creamy character a wide, cool canvas.

Construction

Box-pressing a 60-ring cigar cleanly is hard; Padron makes it look easy. The wrapper is smooth with a fine tooth, the press firm and even. Cold draw brings cedar and almond. Expect the line's trademark sharp burn and stacking ash.

Flavor profile

Full-bodied but rounded — the large format mellows the delivery without diluting the flavor. The first third opens with cedar, toasted nuts, and white pepper. The middle third turns creamy: cocoa, espresso, warm bread. The final third firms up with oak and dark coffee. Huge, cool smoke output across 75–90 minutes.
