Padron 1964 Anniversary Imperial Natural

The Padron 1964 Anniversary Imperial Natural is the box-pressed toro of the line that introduced the world to long-aged Nicaraguan tobacco. At 6 × 54, it's rolled in Estelí entirely from sun-grown tobaccos aged four years and finished with the 1964's signature double band, individually numbered for authenticity.

Construction

A firm, even box-press with a smooth milk-chocolate wrapper. Cold draw offers cedar, hay, and cocoa. Slow, straight burn; dense white ash; a draw that never needs correcting.

Flavor profile

Medium to full-bodied with the 1964's roundness. The first third opens with cedar, roasted nuts, and soft white pepper. The middle third develops coffee with cream, cocoa, and a honeyed sweetness. The final third deepens into earth and gentle spice with a long, creamy finish. The toro format paces the transitions beautifully across 70–85 minutes.

Pairings & occasion

A dinner-party cigar — impressive without being aggressive. Pair with bourbon (Maker's 46, Russell's Reserve 10), an añejo rum, an amontillado sherry, or café con leche.
