Padron 1964 Anniversary No.4 Natural

The Padron 1964 Anniversary No. 4 Natural is the biggest ring gauge in the line that started Padron's anniversary tradition — a 6½ × 60 box-pressed gordo rolled in Estelí from sun-grown tobaccos aged four years, wearing the individually numbered double band introduced with the line in 1994.

Construction

An imposing but immaculate box-press; pressing a 60-ring this evenly is a flex. Cold draw gives cedar and cocoa. Slow, cool, straight burn with a thick column of smoke and a confident ash.

Flavor profile

Medium to full-bodied, with the big ring rounding every edge. The first third opens creamy — cedar, roasted nuts, soft white pepper. The middle third develops cocoa, coffee with cream, and a honeyed sweetness. The final third settles into warm earth and gentle spice. A 90–110 minute smoke that never turns sharp.

Pairings & occasion

A long-evening cigar for big-ring fans. Pair with bourbon (Maker's 46, Woodford Double Oaked), an aged rum, or coffee with dessert. The gentler alternative to the 1926 line's 60-ring No. 48.
