The Padron Family Reserve No. 46 Natural is a 5½ × 56 box-pressed robusto extra released in 2010 to mark the Padrón family's 46th year in business. A Nicaraguan puro rolled from the family's long-aged reserve tobaccos and finished with a peppery sun-grown natural wrapper, it gives the Family Reserve blend a wider, richer stage.

Construction

A solid, even press and a smooth, golden-brown wrapper. The cold draw suggests wood, hay, and leather. Burn, ash, and draw are exactly what you expect from Padrón — slow, steady, and effortless.

Flavor profile

Full-bodied with a lush, creamy smoke. Cocoa, coffee, and earth open with spice on the retrohale; mellow wood and roasted nuts join through the middle; the final third turns bolder with coffee, nuts, and leather. A 60–75 minute smoke.
