Padron Damaso No.12 Robusto

The Padron Damaso No. 12 is the cigar nobody expected from Padron — a mild, Connecticut-wrapped blend from the family famous for full-bodied Nicaraguan power. Named for José Padron's grandfather Damaso, this 5 × 50 robusto pairs a silky Ecuador Connecticut wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and filler, built with the same Estelí craftsmanship as the anniversary lines.

Construction

A pale golden wrapper applied with Padron precision — a striking contrast to the family's usual dark, rustic look. Cold draw gives cream and hay. Even burn, firm ash, effortless draw.

Flavor profile

Mild to medium with unmistakable Padron bones. The first third opens creamy — cedar, toasted nuts, a whisper of vanilla. The middle third adds white pepper and a bready warmth from the Nicaraguan core. The final third closes with coffee and cream. The gentlest cigar Padron makes, and still unmistakably theirs. A 45–60 minute smoke.

Pairings & occasion
